ROBEX - LATEST RESULTS ON NAMPALA: WIDER THAN EXPECTED

Return to press releases

01/09/2008

Montreal - Robex Resources Inc. (TSX-V: RBX) has received the results of additional analysis for the drilling conducted in November on the Nampala gold deposit, located in southern Mali. Initial results presented by Robex on December 12, 2007, had confirmed the continuity of the mineralization as well as a grade increase at depth. Recent reports significantly improve earlier data. A new table of results replaces the one presented before.

Following the initial drilling results on Nampala, analyses of complementary samples were obtained, which further define and increase significantly some mineralized intersections in drill holes NRC680 and NRC681. These additional results outline the doubling-up of the deep drilling intersection reported in drill hole NRC680, and expand the main intersection reported in hole NRC681 to approximately 10 meters as well as locate an additional mineralization zone totaling 14 m.

The deepest hole (NRC680) had revealed at depth a mineralized intersection of 15 metres grading 2.01 g/t Au; complementary samples have increased this to 26 metres at 2.05 g/t Au. For the whole mineralized zone the total increased from 20 m to 40 m grading 1.61 g/t Au. In the drill hole NRC681, the new results have also helped to extend the mineralization. No additional sample was expected for NRC682.

Core Drilling: The Nampala gold deposit whose mineralization continuity has now been demonstrated to depth, remains a flagship asset for Robex. With its inferred resource of 760 000 ounces of gold, and its geological potential, the Nampala gold deposit currently holds the attention of mining companies that undertook its assessment..

Robex Resources is involved in gold exploration in Mali. Its growth is based on the quality of his team, its projects and the objective of the leadership to create value for its shareholders.
