Montreal - Robex Resources Inc. (TSX-V: RBX) announces that the Board Of Directors (BOD) of the Company has approved, by special resolution, the creation of a Strategic Development Committee (SDC). This SDC has a mandate to explore new business opportunities, strategies and ways to re-organize the Company, which will ultimately result in a new and improved Robex.

Marcel Bédard, Chairman comments; «The BOD of the company realizes that the time is right for the Company to re-focus its business plan and aggressively pursue new strategies and business opportunities to increase shareholder values and re-establish shareholder confidence. To this end, the Board has given the mandate to the SDC to fast track a new Robex with the support of the Company behind it. Currently the Company has already begun some of the re-organization directives and is in certain level talks with various companies concerning its Mali property portfolio»

Some of the strategies and evaluations included (not limited to the following);

• Sale or Joint Venture agreements of the current Mali properties.
• Review of the Company’s structure of Directors and Executives and share structure
• Potential acquisition of a high profile flag ship property.
• Public profile and awareness
• Financing opportunities

The streamlined SDC is composed of two members from Robex’ Board, M. Marcel Bédard and M. Christopher Zakak, and one independent advisor, M. Peter J. Hawley.

Marcel Bedard, is currently Chairman of the Board for Robex and a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in finance and entrepreneurial ventures. He is also a senior partner in the accounting firm MDCB Chartered Accountants S.E.N.C.

Christopher Zakak, is a Director with over a decade‘s experience in investment banking. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Zakak was V-P of Legg Mason, Inc, a global asset management and financial advisory firm. Prior to his employment with Legg Mason, Mr. Zakak worked in London for Merrill Lynch Private Banking. In addition to his experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Zakak participated in a variety of high-level projects in the real estate, natural resources and industrial sectors.

Peter J. Hawley, B. Eng, P. Geo. Independent Advisor, he currently sits on the Boards of various public Companies. He advises both public and financial institutes. Mr. Hawley is founder, Chairman and CEO of Scorpio Mining Corporation, a Company listed on the Toronto Exchange, currently in production. He has extensive experience in mining, from grassroots exploration, to development, to production, financing and corporate affairs through out the world.
