Montreal – Robex Resources Inc (TSX : RBX), announces the discovery of an important new gold target in the North-West part of the Mininko permit.

Soil geochemical samples that were collected in 2002 and 2003 over 400m by 200m grids on the Mininko permit in South Mali, West Africa , and analyzed for gold (Au) led Robex to the Nampala and N’Golola gold anomalies. Recent drilling of both of these anomalies has produced very satisfying results. See press releases of 07/07/05 and 01/20/06 on the Robex website at http://www.robexgold.com.

Given that the gold in both gold anomalies was intimately associated with arsenopyrite, as it is the case in numerous gold deposits around the world, the same soil geochemical samples were revisited with a view to re-analyzing them for arsenic (As) content. As suspected the gold areas of Nampala and N’Golola both showed strong As anomalies.

The analyses also revealed a large As anomalous area in the North West part of the Mininko permit. This anomaly compares both in strength and in size, to the Nampala and N’Golola As anomalies. An illustrative map showing these As anomalies will accompany this press release on the Robex website. To this date, very little exploration work has been carried out in the North West portion of the permit. The discovery of this important As anomaly fully justifies detailed exploration of this area which encompasses the Gladié North and Mandiela geochemical gold anomalies.
