Drilling on Nampala: results beyond expectations

Quebec, February 19, 2010- Robex Resources Inc. (TSX-V: RBX / FWB: RB4) is very pleased to announce that it has now received all analytical results from its recent drilling program completed on the Nampala gold deposit and that these results exceed management’s expectations. Many intercepts reveal grades above 5.0 g/t and great lengths were also returned like hole NRC9065 which returned 1.35 g/t Au over a length of 78 m, including 13.7 g/t over 4 m (see tables below for details of results). These excellent results confirm Robex’s management that it can carry on its program towards a possible and eventual production start-up on the deposit by the installation of a minimum 2000 ton per day gravimetric concentrator to process saprolitic ore.

In drill holes carrying significant grades, a relatively uniform distribution of gold is found between 5 and 85 m depth, with higher grades around 10, 21, 28, 38 and 52 m depth. The mineralized grades and lengths are similar to the ones obtained from previous drilling used to complete the 2007 resource estimate on Lens 100 (see 43-101 report).  During the coming weeks, following a compilation and interpretation of the data acquired during the recent drilling campaign, a new resource assessment will be carried out, followed by gold recovery tests on the ore and eventually by a feasibility study.

Between November 23 and December 18, 2009, a total of 8,324 meters of air core and reverse circulation drilling (AC and RC) were completed in 119 drill holes over Lens 100 of the deposit, where previous drilling has outlined inferred resources of 675,000 ounces of gold (22.5 million tonnes at an average grade of 0.93 g/t Au).  These resources are developed between the surface and a vertical depth of 150 meters (see technical report 43-101 at www.robexgold.com).

The objective of the drilling campaign was to achieve a 25 meters x 25 meters drilling pattern to confirm and upgrade the resource base of a portion of Lens 100 between surface and vertical depth of about 80 meters where an inferred resource of 256,000 ounces of gold contained in 8,4 million tonnes of ore at an average grade of 0.95 g/t Au has been outlined by previous drilling in the oxidized and transitional portion of the deposit.  Drilling was oriented towards the east at angles of -50o and -70o. Sampling was done by intervals of one meter. Quality control samples including sample duplicates, blanks and standards were inserted at regular intervals during the sampling procedure and all samples were sent for gold analysis to ALS Chemex Laboratory in Bamako, Mali.
